    OK, you are in a dungeon. there are three switches on the wall. above you is a room with a light. there is a ladder leading to a trap door to the room. you can enter the room one time at -which time you have to guess which of the three switches controlls the light. If right - you are set free... if wrong - you die.

    The light switches are in the room you are currently in and not the room above the trap door....right???

    You can flip the switches all you want but once you open the door, that's it....correct?

    you may flip switches all you like. You may enter the room one time only. It doesn't matter if the light is on when you enter, but you must guess which of the three switches operates it at that point.

    I would turn the switches on one at a time and see if any light comes in around the cracks in the trap door.... Or am i trying too hard lol

    the trap door is sealed such that no light leaks through.
    yes, the lightbulb is within reach... you're getting warm.
