    I saw some brown stringy stuff in one of the mouths and wasn't sure if it was going in or out... then all the mouths pumped some out in a big cloud.. all at once. I hope he's not sick He looks normal except a small exposed spot where my foxface was starting to nip him. (got rid of the fox)

    i think all corals with mouths use it for both in and out

    Sounds as if it is expelling it's beneficial zooxanthellae. Could just be swapping out for something different or, in trouble.

    My Plate Coral does the same this every so often. He expels brown stuff in the water. I think its normal
