Just a quick question out of curiosity. Some people do and Some don't :)

I just float bags from corals that were shipped to get them up to temp. Other than that, no.

I do the same, however, if something does seem more sensitive I will acclimate it.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I remove corals from a bag and place them a small container with the water they came in. Next I add tank water to the container every 10 mins and I pour out a little of the original water. This does not take long and easily accomplished.

This is actually the way I acclimate everything. I have never drip acclimated anything in my life.

It depends alot about which corals that i will add to the tank. If its hardy corals like green star polyps or finger leathers, i will just float acclimate then, but if its some very sensitive LPS or SPS i will drip acclimate them for a couple of hours. However, i always acclimate my corals somehow, cause it doesnt hurt, and it only helps. It is almost required for sensitive species of corals :)

I have always dripped mine. I'll forget to add water. But I also pull a lil old water out as I go.

Close, but I leave the bag hanging in the tank after temp acclimation and use a turkey baster to remove bag water and add tank water.

    Exactly. :)
