Just wanted to know if it's a bad idea to mix different salts.

When I change salts, I ween it....Kinda like weening a dog to new food.....Mix and slowly go to the new salt...Don't know if it matters, but I do it that way anyway!!

Yes, I've mixed brands when I was making a switch and didn't have enough of the old for a water change. Don't know if it makes any difference, but I let the old salt mix thoroughly first, then adjusted the SG with the new.
