    I don't think photosynthetic corals "need" to be fed but they will grow much faster if fed. .. I'm thinking mostly my candy canes.. From things I've read goniopora need to be fed for long term success.

    I "tank-feed" corals with ZoPlan, Cyclo-Peze frozen, and H20 Life Marine Fusion, which is mixed into my homemade mush, that also contains rotifers, I alternate the above once a week or more depending on how the corals look to me. I target feed sun coral colony every three days, while it's isolated, using Cyclo, mysis, mixed with SW and target feed. I also give my frogspawn, brain, lobo, button polyps that target mix once a week. I have noticed a difference, growth picked up a lot, from my observation, even the rics.
