do you have to buy the wp powerheadsth the single controller?

    Well ive been seraching here and there to see if I can find just the wp25 powerheads so I can get 2 and a dual contoller but I cant seem to find the powerheads without the single contoller.

    they all come with the single controller. You plug the PH into the controller and the controller is plugged into the wall. so if you buy 2 WPs separately and then decide to get the twin controller later you plug both your PHs into the twin and then plug that into the wall. your old controllers you will have as backup for if there is an issue down the line.

    Fish street sells package deals with the new double controller and choice of pumps.

    I actually found the power heads on ebay and a dual contoller for alot cheaper then I would buy on fishstreet. Paid 100 for it all

    Make sure you are using the correct power supply with the dual controller! IIRC, WP-40s use a 5A power supply and WP-25 & WP-10s use 4A.

    Yes! On the fishstreet website they warn that using the wrong power supply with the new dual controller could actually cause a fire.

    How can you tell the difference? Are their markings or a sticker that indicates it?

    On the back of the power supply it lists the power output, either 4A or 5A.
