When you are fragging an acropora or birdsnest do you need to frag the entire coral into different pieces or can you cut off one limb or piece and just leave the coral on its rock..

    I hope this makes sense..

On my acro, I would like to leave it in its spot and take a few limbs off.. Also with my birdsnest I would like to cut some off the backside and put them on my new frag rack.. ;D

You can frag one piece at a time.

If you want, you can even leave it in the tank, just break off a piece.
