I like to have the radio cranked and it seems that the corals come out a little more and sway to the rythem.

I curse at my reef lobster (butter cup)when he climbs on clam or pinches me. I don't realy talk to them but my wife and kids do. They even name them. It was funny when I thru in about 160 crabs and snails. They just stick to the fish now.

My hubby cusses the clowns when they bite does that count. We both talk to them at feeding time. If they talk back I am selling them my kids do that enought I can't handle the fish doing that too.

I talk to my 2 species tank...but my reef is too hard to have conversations with those fish....they dont like me talking to them. The reef tank fish look at me like I am nuts.

However my mantis and I have deep conversations daily. He comes out, looks at me and I talk to him. My golden puffer in the other tank in the same room will then start splashing, spitting and flopping around, so I have to go talk to her. And those two tanks are in my office so we have DEEP conversations!

You would think it was already done. Considering corals are more interactive than plants. They have researched that plants do like music and like being talked to. I think my corals listen better than my wife. There is actually nothing to disprove it (that corals dont like music) or they listen better than my wife. Maye it can be my life work. Leave a name for myself. HAHAha. My regal Tang used to splash me from 5ft away when I was sittig on the couch.

LMAO. Now thats an interactive fish. Sounds more like a toddler. Oh, and, yes, I do talk to my fish. I've been talking a lot to my likely dead new goby that I put in on Saturday and haven't seen since. I'm almost at the point of stopping asking him to come out. Just don't think he will at this point.

This is a funny thread!;D:cheesy: I talk to my fish because sound travels underwater and even though they don't understand a word I'm sure they pick up vibes both good and bad.
