Do you talk to your fish?

Uh, Puhleeez!!!! We all do. I even have my husband and mother talking to all of them everyday. hehehe

 

My tang acts just like a dog most of the time. I really think it gets mad when I dont pay attention to it. I didn't know fish liked to play hide and seek. It already figured out how to get food from me smack the side of the tank. And yes I always talk to the fish especially the lone damsel who is pretty much indestructable. fin rot, ick, and another unknown disease (petco) couldn't kill this guy.

 

I had a coral banded shrimp that seemed very smart, he was the first "fish" I started talking to. I had him trained somewhat. If I tapped on the glass in a certain spot he knew I'd give him a pellet. If no tapping he knew not to beg. Then he died.

 

I cannot quote 90% of the things I say to my tank!!

 

I can because I usually just say the same things over and over. Tell them how pretty they are, ask them if they are hungry, tell them to quit begging or tell them to quit attacking my hand when I'm not feeding them. They don't seem to understand too much more then that so I don't even try. They don't seem to give a crap how my day went either.

 

Yes--They are pets aren't They???
