Do you un-plug hardware when working in the tank?

    i never turn anything off. the funny thing is every time i have my arm in the tank i always look at my lights and i laugh at my self because of how dumb i am. one wrong move and light out for me.

    Never turn anything off. Have a GFI cord I got at Home Depot and have tripped it several times. They work! :p

    the only time i'm ever in my tank is feeding time/cleaning time so i turn off all forms of circulation including filtration....the lights and heater are always left alone.
