do you use carbon?

i use it continuously i like the Kent reef carbon my waters always crystal clear!

 

I used to, but because I dont use a filter anymore there is no where to put the little carbon bag.

I used to be a chemi-pure fan, and then one day I didn't replace it after I took it out. My water is still clear, but I wonder if this has contributed to my valonia algae. hmmm.. :-/

 

Chemi-pure is my choice, however will be hooking up 2fish reactor soon that will have carbon and phosban.

Any one else running their carbon in this setup?

 

I run it through a Phosban reactor 1 week per month only

i use it 24/7.

 

In my canister and my power head.

 

I use it 24x7. I have a whisper hang on filter that I put it into. I don't really count on that little filter to do anything but increase flow in the tank, add to the surface aggitation, and give me a place to put a pouch of carbon. Seems to work well on all fronts.
