I have several Zoa frags in my tank but noticed this random polyp tonight. I thought they spread but not just pop up in a place. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339455999.939748.jpg

Probably fell off of another frag or hitchhiked in on some live rock

Are you sure its not some kind of nem, The arms on it look too long to be a zoa.

    Majano anemone maybe?

I haven't added anything to my tank in almost a year, and tonight I just found an anemone of some sort. So, they can go along time hidden from view and then just appear out of nowhere.

I'm pretty sure you guys are right about the nem. When I got home yesterday it had moved a couple inches.

Yea, definately a Majano Anemone. The one I have in my tank is Pink... lol They can range in color and look. I haven't killed the one I have yet cause I just haven't got around to it yet... it kind of does it's own thing, doesn't bother anyone. They tent to only pop out at night. When the lights come on, they disapear into the LR.
