I made a kalk reactor which works well and keeps my cal, alk, and ph up. Thing is that it does not seem to separate as well as if you mix some and let it sit. Mine mixes once a day for 15 minutes and then has the chance to sit before being introduces via ato. I want to know if it needs fresh air access to the kalk reactor to make a better separation of the solution.

    thanks

you don't want air to get to it I believe. the separation is wasted kalkwasser(to a extend).
