i bought some fuzzy shrooms on a rock from the lfs and its got a single polyp thing with bubbly tentacles on it. looks like a zoo of some type but never seen one with exstensions like this one before. i'm going to try and post a pic of it. it's out during the day and retracts at night. does anybody know what type of coral it is?

It looks like mojano aiptasia. Really pretty stuff, but is just as deadly as regular aiptasia.

I have to agree with crabby, it could be a small bubble anemone, but that is my opinion, I never seen a mojano. and what kind of lights do you have? and what do you mean day and night? lights on and off, or simply the day time cycle?
