OMG, I just spent an hour typing a dissertation in response to a members question re. the merits of BioBalls v. Live Rock. When I fianlly hit the submit reply button I saw "you are not logged in" and my post was gone. :furious3::furious3::furious3::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry: I've either got to learn to type faster or to stop writing so much.

Nope but I can type up to 90 wpm on the laptop or computer. I always have been the fastest typist in my typing classes since elementary school. But on my iPhone I type very slow :D

I have done this a hand full of times, so frustrating. I have managed to get my quick post back by clicking back, I have only managed to do this a couple of times though.

Well my mom's a medical transcriptionist...so she types wicked fast. And she's been impressed with MY speed...so...no :D

I took a typing class in middle school though so my youth aids me.

I just took a typing test I found on google. I took it twice, and my MAX speed (not very accurate, about 75% accurate ::)) and my first try yielded 71 WPM. The next try was 85 WPM. I'm sure I could get it higher on a third try.

I'm a slow poster because I fix the typos I make, and if it's a long post I sometimes re read it to proof read it.

GoToSleep, this has happened to me - I guess I wasn't "wicked fast" enough! ;D If I type a post and there's ever any question I might get logged out, I highlight the text (hold shift and arrow down) and hit control-C. That way it's copied to the clipboard and if I do get logged out, I can go back and log in, reply to the post, control-V to paste it in the text box, and it's back! :) I routinely do this on long posts, just for that reason.

9 times out of 10, if you back enough times with your browser, the words are still there... ;) just copy/paste them then...
