I was thinking last night, if coral extend their polyps for feeding even more at night, why doesn't anyone feed the coral at night?

In my LPS buocube I have never seen any feeders out at night. My corals are all hungry during the day. No idea why. I have seen each coral I have eat during the day.

I try to do 3 small feedings for the coral per week. 1 of which is at night and I also spot feed some lps if necessary.

I feed as much as every other night. Phytoplankton and zooplankton for my SPS corals in particular and meaty foods like mysis soaked in amino acids for my LPS corals.

If it's after 2am and I'm still up I tend to feed a little.
