    I have been fiddling with the thought of one some time 2 years ago... I came to a conclusion that it's not that high of a priority... You will end up getting nitrate build up in the reactor, and you would be better off collecting clams.
    Unless you want to clean it out every so often, and spend extra $$$ on the media. it's a cool little item, but again more work in the long run. HTH.

    I am, Im waiting for some fittings to finish the coil denitrator. It was just a thought, but winstone makes a great point that I didnt think of. Luna

    I agree, although it probably does it job very well, it most likely requires a lot of care.
