The Koralia 1 through 4 have been replace by the Evolution Line so you will not be able to get that on back order is my guess. I think it produces 600 to 700 gph.

It is definitely worth $20 bucks... one of my not quite LFS has them for almost $60 a piece.

I have one and it is a very good pump. Reliable and quiet. I can't remember how many GPH it is though.

They are out of stock at your link though... at that price, I think I know why.

IMO the new Koralia Evolutions are much better. They are quiter and are 100% vibration free. The old k's seem to vibrate a bit and I can feel it on the side of the tank. with the new EVO model...nothing. Better flow as well and a bit smaller.

While I love my Korallia Evos, i have to disagre with you on not vibrating. They vibrate a lot depending on the size, but the rubber pads on the magnet part eliminate the vibrations from transfering to your glass. I highly recommend the old Korallias and new Evos.

I have 2 Koralia 2s that I have running on a wavemaker for over 3 years clicking away 24hrs a day without one going bad. They are rated at 600gph.

I just ordered last week 2 EVO 1400 to replace them. IMO they are the best pumps for their price.

Pass on the K2 and go with the new Evolutions series, they are much better pumps. I went from a K3 and two K4's to two Evo 1400s and love them. They are much much smaller, have a better mounting system, are controllable with a timer or controller and best of all use less than half the power of the old K series. And mine are totally silent when switching at 30 second intervals, I have to be looking right at them to see when they switch.
