    whoa, just noticing the evo 1400's for the first time, those look nice compared to the K4's I have... think I may need to transition to these soon...

    They're about half the size and draw and honest 6 watts on my Kill A Watt meter. The first powerheads I have owned that move sand at the opposite end of my 60" tank too.

    Got my EVO 1400s in today and installed them already. OMG they are absolutely SILENT!!!! No more clicking noises.

    The one time I heard mine making noise I found I had mistakenly plugged them in to the mechanical timer outlets on my RKL and not the solid state outlets which make no sound.
