On a side note, my gsp's took a long time before they started being the "pest" that have been known to be sometimes. As always there are threads concerning gsp's not opening;doing well etc. I keep mine in med/high flow and provide plenty of light. I would like to urge reefers "not" to use commercial products that claim "amazing" results that can be achieved simply by keeping normal reef parameters in check.

You're probably right, but I've personally been dosing with Reef Vital for about 2 years, and like I said, notice whenever I forget. I also use Kalkwasser daily and iodine once a week. Everyone gets different results, I guess...personally, I'm a little on the unconventional side, seeing as I keep my salinity really high...so...this is a hobby where everyone can have different methods and different things work for different people.

I keep mine in a high flow and high light [t-5] area they extended alot. I don't feed them anything extra but I soak my fish food in Selcon.

Absolutely right. What works for you may not work for someone else. I would still like to urge reefers to monitor what they are dosing. Especially with things like copper:-X and iodine.
