    Hi there,

Lately, I bought like 40 or so pounds of live rock. I've noticed little "things" coming off of them and walking around the tank. They have legs, like water bugs.

They look like sperm, no joke. Less than 1cm long probably.

Could they be the Brittle stars reproducing? I have gotten rid of all of the Brittlestars, atleast I thought.

Please give me your opinion, and/or treatment.

Harmless and good for your tank. Many fish and corals eat them.

yeah this is a good thing, if you have a lot of them you can keep mandarins and such.

they eat detritus and algae and keep your rocks and sand bed healthy... as well as provide food for carnivorous fish
