Does anyone know why my Green bubble anemone might be hiding under the rock?

By "under" I really mean its wedged itself in an awkward position under my rock, could that be its perm. residence?

All my parameters are fine. It's a 29 gallon tank with a protein skimmer, 2 clowns, and 250 watts of 2 actinic lights and 2 metal hallides.
I've heard people say that I have to grab the anemone, place it on a rock for about 5 minutes, until it stays there?

    Thanks

regular lights? - your regular lights are metal halide I guess, I'm thinking they have to be to have that kind of wattage over a 29 gallon tank. Sounds like a lot of light for a 29 gallon, like over 8 watts per gallon. I guess that tank is probably 2 feet tall though. So I dunno, might not be too much.

What I thought was maybe it was so much light the anemone still gets plenty in the nook hes found?? Not too knowledgeable on anemones though, someone else can probably help more.

Do NOT do that. You could accidentally rip it's foot. If the parameters are fine, it will come out on it's own.

What are you suggesting, take off 2 of the lights? Or should I turn the rock upside down, and place it like that?

I think 1 metal halide plus the actinics should be more than enough. It's probably trying to get away from all of that light. Trying leaving one of them off and see if that helps.

I did 1 actinics and 1 metal halide right now, its a bit more open, but it's still wedged under a rock..... god I hope I didn't mess it up. :(
