I would leave it alone , I have an anemone that looks just like that one it just plain prefers to be on the sand wedged into a rock, its been in spot like that for months

Do you think 2 ascentic and 2 halides are too much? Should I keep one of each, or leave all of them on?

I don't think you have halides, but power compacts. The hoods for the bio cubes only come as power compact or metal halide w/ no supplemental lighting. The main reason being two halides on a 29 gallon would boil your water without a chiller.

Don't mess with the anemone. It will go where it wants to and you will just have to deal with it. Just one of those things.

I'm not using a biocube, its a regular 29 gallon tank.

Don't know where I came up with that, but still...two metal halides unless they were very low watts would boil your water. A photo of the fixture would probably help.

Does anyone know which lights need to be on during which part of the day?

    There is the metal halide.
    There is the ascentic.
    There is the LED.

I think each one is for each part of the day.

When I first got my BTA, it took 2 weeks before it found a spot it really likes. He moved to about a 3rd way up my rocks and stayed. Now it opens up and bubbles up beautifully!!! Leave it be, it will acclimate at its own pace....and it will be healthier and more happy that way!
