    I have used them for about 4 years off and on. Nothing great to report, not to say it is bad. You would need a microscope to see if they are actually alive or not after 30 min. I never bothered to check.

    I switched to target feeding reef roids and Seachem phytoplankton with good results. I have kept my red ball sponge alive with minimal shrinkage for years with that mix.
