not sure if light has anything to do with it, just curious, has it been sitting in a cabinet?? in the dark?? sometimes, things break down because of light.

no, u buy 2 seperate containers.... alkalinity and calcium. They are shippied halfway full in a concentrate form, u have to fill with ro water to the specified line on the bottle. They do that to save on weight, shipping...money. Bottles havent been sitting in sunlight or anything, just on a shelf in the basment for about a year and another year sitting in a closet.

If you REALLY want to be sure and have no doubt, contact the company via email or telephone and ask them. That always works for me. Luna
