I'm running a FOWLR setup presently, but still trying to get my coraline algae to propagate throughout the tank. So, was wondering if i require my actinics to be on, or can i do with just 10K T5s?

Coraline loves actinics. I'd definitely run them along with keeping your cal, alk, and mag at good levels.

It grows well under my 6500k's in my fuge too! But becareful of what you wish for. In the end you'll end up hating as bad or worse than other algae we call nuisances. I was told that not long ago and remember it everytime I scrape a spot off the front glass or pump.;D

Grows well in low light. I don't think it "needs" actinics. Certainly wouldn't run out and buy them just for that.

I had a FOWLR years ago with daylight bulbs and coralline grew just fine.
