Yup you still sweat whilst under water.
One drop of seawater can contain over a million bacteria. Your bady normally can fight off infections, its only if you are suffering with a disease and your immune system is weakened that it can cause a problem.

Yes and No. Whether you are sweating is a physiologic response to how hot your body is or thinks it is. If you are under water in a hot tub, then the normal response is for your boby to sweat. If you are underwater in most any pool or natural body of water, the water is almost certainly much cooler than your body temperature (37C, 98.6F) and even if you were hot when you jumped in, you will quickly cool of and your body will likely start doing things to conserve heat.

BTW, sweating is only effective when the sweat evaporates from our skin. This is very similar to the cooling effect we achieve by blowing a fan across the top of our tanks. Regardless of conditions, if you are under water, your sweat is not going to evaporate and sweating won't contribute anything to cooling your body.

I hear that once your corals get a taste of human blood, they crave human flesh forever more.

But in all seriousness, salt water treatments are recommended/required for fresh piercings and such. It would be safe to assume that salt water is not harmful to our cuts/scrapes/scratches. As far a reef tank goes though, I have heard that it is possible to get infections (even staph, yikes!) and palytoxin poisoning (if your tank is home to zoanthids) among other things.

Actually, it's anemones that will turn into maneaters. They move slow but when one of these killers actually gets ahold of an unsuspecting aquariist it can get ugly. My buddy's brother had a friend whose cousin...

Nope, no need to.The temp of the water is still lower than your core body temp. You should not be sweating underwater unless the wter is like really warm, and then it would be too warm for corals to be living,

I do however pee while diving. it is fun.

I can't tell you how many times I've had a small wound on the cuticle of my finger and when it just barely touched the surface of the water I would recoil pretty fast because I thought I was getting stung!! ESPECIALLY when I had the lion fish. It was either that or I thought I was being electrocuted. Of course it was just the wound plus the salt. But yea, it hurts!
