    i left the air control hose off my powerhead that goes to my aqua c remora in sump skimmer will this matter or will it be ok?

    You will loose flow to the skimmer because the water will take the path of least restance and flow out the air line hole. Just sit something in there and plug it up. If it's a Maxi Jet then they come with plugs for the holes.
