I've never kept one before and was just wondering if it appears healthy from what you can see. Thanks.

This is a pic about 2 days after introduced it. It moved Deep into a rock nook

Current- it's definitely lost some color IMO. Not sure if it has anything to do with zooxanthellae or not. Feeds and excretes normally...so it seems

My guess is that it may be expelling waste? but how high up is it? might be reaching for the light also.

What lights you got on it?

My GBTA bleached pretty bad because of bad params. So what are your params looking like?

Nah, not expelling waste in those pics. It shrivels up for that. Lighting is in my sig. If it wasn't enough lighting it would've moved. Been in the same spot for 3 1/2 weeks. I'll be posting full params today but not in this thread.

Color has to do with light and phytoplankton and the algae they harbor. Find out what light your LFS had it under and compare to what you have as it has faded somewhat or maybe not faded, just changing color according to the spectrum. Also, ask LFS what if anything they were feeding.

Thanks for the reply. Nem didn't come from LFS...Corals2go. Not sure how long it was in their system for or what lighting it was under. I just care about what it looks like now. I think the color change is definitely due to lighting. There's no problem with the Nem whatsoever. Just wanted opinions on it's appearance.

Nismo, my RBT looks just bout' like yours - a lil' more color, but, young and growing- mine has been with me for few months now- this one is in my 29 gallon- so I think yours looks pretty good IMHO.

Thanks alpha. Just need some re-assurance ;) from the experience of those that keep them.
