I was wondering if my F.L looked off to anyone else? I don't really know enough to know.
It just looks different, but I haven't done anything in the tank at all to disturb or change it.

The polyps(?) appear to be more brown than before, and there's also a clump looking object of brown stuff in the middle.
It's also taking longer for it to extend once I light up the tank.

I have a 1050gph P.W pointed in it's direction, though not really a direct flow onto it. Does it need more/less flow?

Is it fine, and I shouldn't care?

    As always, thank you all.

it looks fine to me Weir Head

the brown area looks to be just a mass of closed or almost closed up polyps
so some localised feeding activity is possibly the reason for that

Localized from myself? Or are you saying I should direct feed it?
I use DT's for this other coral I have, and I'm sure the LF gets some remnants, but the LFS guy said it likes frozen plankton.

I've just been kind of crushing it up and then putting it around the LF once a week or more.

    sorry Weir Head

when I say localised feeding, I just mean that the polyps in that area seem to be closed and thus may be feeding

your description of feeding method does make me more convinced this is what is happening, as the polyps closer to the action are possibly capturing more of the food
hence they are closed whilst most of the others are open

    Thanks.
So would you recommend maybe giving that area some more frozen stuff and DTs?

I think its finding all it needs to be honest judging from the image

honestly I have never target feed a leather coral of any type
they do benefit from any broadcast feeding I did in a tank that had softies
but I never directly fed any of them and they did fine from what they managed to capture from the water column
