I just bought this torch coral last week and it has looks the same today as is did when I bought it. I bought it from a coral farm where they keep the corals in a greenhouse and they are grown under sunlight only no supplemental lights.

Someone on a local forum said that it looked bleached out and I needed to get strongeer lights and also feed it. I do target feed my corals with cyclopseeze every three days, and I have 6 x 39w T5s 2 ATI Aquablue, 2 ATI blue plus, 1 KZ fiji purple and 1 UVL 75.25 so I think my lights are plenty strong enough seeing as my SPS are growing just fine.

I thought that was just the color it was supposed to be, white with flourescent green tips. What do you think?

It does look a little contracted, but it doesn't look that bad. Give it some time, if it gets worse, I would try to move it around.

Yeah it is definitely bleached. Try to get it in a place where it will recieve good lighting and the minimum possible flow. I am not aware of a white torch. They are either brown, slightly rarer green, or even rarer yellow.
Does it ever extend out or does it always stay contracted like that?
Also, cyclopeeze will do absolutley nothing for a torch. When you try to feed it, feed it bigger chunks of meaty items like shrimp or silversides. Maybe try feeding it those once a week to help boost it up a little.

My torch is quite a bit darker.

+1 on low flow. I took Pack's same advise and moved mine (moved PH actually) to where it almost stands still and it has ballooned up nicely!

I believe I will also try his advise on feeding it meatier chunks.

Off topic, sorry OP. Pack, do you think my bubble coral would prefer meatier chunks too? Thinking I'll try when I feed the torch.

well I moved it in the tank and put a rock in front of it to block the waterflow around it. I fed it some frozen mysis shrimp and it gobbled them right up.
