I used red slime remover in my tank over a week ago, and since then I haven't seen anywhere near as much pod activity in my tank. I had a couple rocks I could see pods running around on all the time, and now almost none on those same rocks, and the glass is looking rather bare as well. Does red slime remover have a negative impact on pods or affect them in anyway? I also bought a 6 line wrasse this weekend, and I know he will devour them, but they seemed sparse even before I bought him.

I'm thinking about starting a HOB fuge as a pod farm this week, because I want to get my population back up to support the 6 line and a mandarin in the future.

the 6 line will wipe them out very fast... but no, to my knowledge the slime remover doesnt kill them. The HOB fuge is a good idea but if you will be having a mandarin i would recommend just putting in a large refugium because a HOB will not be able to support it long term
