I have an unopened 50g bag of IO that is about 15 years old. Is it safe to use?

15 years??? WOW. I kinda doubt it, I doubt the bag stayed airtight and salt sucks up everything in its environment. I bet its a mess by now! Sorry, I may be wrong, but doesn't seem like its worth the risk.

Assuming everything stayed locked up well. I would mix up 1G and test it with your test kits. If everything seems right I dont see why not?

Yeah I had a sw set up 15 years ago and found this bag in a Tupperware storage container. It's not hardened or anything, but I have a new 200g box as well. Prolly safer just to use that
