Does SpectraPure MaxCap RODI include a filter wrench?

Just got my MaxCap RODI system and the instructions says I have to initialize it by removing the DI membranes first. However, to do that I need the filter wrench, which wasn't shipped with my unit. Is the setup supposed to include this and shipped accordingly? Is there aAny other way to remove the DI membranes?

 

I didnt get one either but i have a few extra from other units and BRS reactors

 

$300 dollars and they couldn't include a filter wrench? /sigh

 

My Spectrapure came with the filter wrench... Have you contacted them?

Yes it should come with a filter wrench. The canisters should only be slightly more than hand tight so you should be able to unscrew them by hand if you can get a good grip. I often use a jar opener pad for a good grip and they unscrew easily.

You are going to love the MaxCap, its an excellent system!

 

I just purchased the spectra pure 90 gpd model the other day and it did include the wrench. It also included the attachment for a hose outlet (Marine Depot) had me purchase one separate saying it did not include.
