I've had this elegance coral a little over a week now and I've read a bunch of info on them and just can't tell if it's in rough shape or not.

okay so, stubby tentacles are not good from what I've read. I feel mine are stubby like I said before my phone decided to suck, I've had it for a little over a week. I just need some reassurance that SOMETHING WILL BE OKAY b/c if anyone has looked at the disease forum the past week, you'd know all my fish died.

I understand yours is a lot bigger and way more open but I feel like mine just looks much different than yours. One half of mine has tentacle like that, the others are stubby but the stubby side seems more open. I'm just not sure and I'm really frustrated...

only being in your tank a week i would just let it chill and relax about it.. as long as u have good water and lighting then u should be fine..also dont mess with too much..ive moved mine around a few times, but have only done it at night when its closed up and each morning opened up fine like it never knew it was moved..

also make sure its away from everything enough to open fully.. they dont look like it but they can get pretty big once the open..

i cant really tell much in your pic..try to make the image bigger

Only got my phone for pics n its towards the back so if I zoom in it'll be fuzzy but I'll take your advice, it may be too close to the rocks

Mine actually went all stubby about a month before it died, that may have been coincidence though...
