I have a 75 Gallon that i will be setting up a FOWLR very soon just trying to plan it out, here is what i have so far, advice would be nice!

    Protein skimmer:
AquaC Remora Pro Protein Skimmer With Mag-Drive 3 Pump

    Filter:
AquaClear 110 Aquarium Power Filter - for 70 to 110 Gallon

    Powerhead/water movement:
    Koralia Magnum - 5UL - 1,650 GPH - 8W (x2)

    Lighting:
    Coralife 10,000K Fluorescent Lamp ( 1- 48in Tube)

    50-75lbs of Live Sand

50-100lbs of Live Rock (start with about 35 then add)

Stocklist: (not in order just what i liked)
    1 Achilles Tang
    1 Clown Tang
    1 Convict Tang
1-2 Dwarf Angels (not sure what kind yet)
    And cleaning crew of coarse

Maybe add some corals later once tank gets established and running well. Any advice on corals, i know tangs and angels will pick at some

    Thanks,
    Antonio

IMO you will run into problems with those tangs in a 75. The clown in particular can be very aggressive specially when in small spaces with other tangs. I would try to stick with one smaller tang such as a kole or yellow and other fish. Have you looked into wrasses? There are some very beautiful ones that would go great in there.

    Some of my concerns;

    1. I agree with Mikejrice about the Tangs.

    2. I dont trust ANY kind of Angel when it comes to a reef tank.

    3. Your lighting isnt enough for corals.

If its a fish only tank, then the light you mentioned is fine.

I have never like those "power filters", I would rather convert it into a refugium as mentioned by Stud_man50. If you have the space, a refugium is the best filtration system that you can have. For both a fish-only tank or a reef.

but i can go without the filter no problem then? i might do a refugium maybe but if not i can just not worry about the filter in terms of need, just get rid of it...
