    The problem is that fish produce the most waste, which means bio-load. Some systems can handle the bio load without an additional filter and some cant. I guess you'll have to find out for yourself.

    ok, well i thank you for sticking with me, its my first saltwater tank so still a bunch to learn, but this should get my started thanks again
