I have a coral beauty for almost a year now in a mixed tank with a crocea clam. I have never seen her nip at anything. (not sure of gender either, so I arbitrarily get to decide)

I have to come back to this and say that in the past few weeks I have seen my coral beauty begin to nip at most all of my LPS. She is not completely destroying them, but I am getting ready to set up a FOWLR and she is one of the first fish being moved out of my reef.

I have a Brazilian Fireball Pygmy and he has never touched a thing - not even a taste! I have a ton of coral and three clams. I thought the true test would be my giant 7" Maxima right there for the taking.....not a thing. He's been a very good boy!

I keep him VERY well fed - he's thick. So maybe that helps :)

well when i had my potters angel and my flame angel they were both pretty nice behaved, never picked on anything.. so i would say they are reef safe for the most part.. but you do have to keep an eye on them.

We had a coral beauty until it jumped, but no issues from it what so ever. Just picked at the rocks all day long.

Now we have a Pygmy (Cherub) angel with no problems from it either. Sometimes picks at dying zoas (my mom likes to kill some of our ugly zoas to keep them from spreading like a weed) and the angel will pick at those. But it has never ever ever picked at our healthy corals.
