Doesn't Anyone use a Euroreef or ASM skimmer

    It does, but i would not go much less.
    adjusting it can be a challange start with the recomended hight then adjust it A little at atime over a week or so. It is very sentive to the oils on your hand

    Ive got a euroreef 5-2 it can be tempermental at times like all skimmers.Im considering a octopus 200 for my next tank looks identical to a er but much bigger reaction chamber 500+gph needlewheel pump(doent know about the pumps quality though )

    I use an ASM gx1 recirc mod and am completely happy with it... it sits in about 8" of water. My favorite site about info, etc on ASM skimmers is www.asmskimmer.com

    I have an ASM in my sump and i get a full cup of black skim every day. It works so well i almost vomit when i empty it. Its really that bad. I had to start using vicks vapor rub under my nose to empty the skimmate. Its the best bang for the buck.
