So I have seen Red bugs before, Yellow with the red butt, and i can tell if they're on a Acropora or not but does this look like red bugs to you? or just an iso pod?

I did dip the frag in Bayer, actually i overdosed it and that little bugger still did not detached itself, left it in there for 10 minutes! i just dont want to risk it

I edited the picture and circled it!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I do not know for sure, but they do look like it could very possibly be RB. A macro shot of a coral in the tank, a smooth skin one, with the imaged cropped will help.

They do look like redbugs to me. I had them not long ago but it looks like my six line and leopard wrasse have taken care of that issue.

The one on the lower left is about the right size, but hard to tell. All the rest are closed up polyps. If you dipped it in Bayer with the correct dosage, they would be dead. Eggs could be hidden in the rock it's encrusted to. If I see RB's in the dip, I always cut the coral off of it's base and glue it to a new rock.

I wouldn't expect "regular" pods to live on like that with intervention. They would have bailed. Anything that is that determined to stay around, usually isn't a desirable critter.

It turns out its Black Bugs. I've gotten rid of them already with some Interceptor, all is fine now!
