    So with my clowns i understand they are supposed to establish dominance but one just keeps picking away at the others fins. Is this normal??

    Completely normal.

    "Mating dance" can go on for a good while...even to point of near death of one of them...

    The beat up one will either give up to the inevitable about who is going to wear skirt in family, or it will die (which is known to happen all to frequently) :-[

    a little over a week now. It is mainly over territory(who gets a certain spot under the rock).
