    how can you tell if your fishies are making baby fishies? my dominos are acting in a odd way. ive never seen them act so crazy befor

    the smaller one will sit at the top of a rock and flap its fins really really fast for a couple of minutes. then the larger one will do the same. in the same spot for a couple more minutes. they did this for about an hour. and their color turned fairly white.

    I haven't had damsels in a long time, sounds like they are fooling around though. Or imitating somebody. ;D j/k

    I have no experience with breeding marine fish. It does sound a lot like how my Cichlids breed though. I also have never heard any success stories of breeding damsels. This may be due to an inability to supply food for fry.

    Ive kept male/female pairs, and small social units with no luck whatsoever. Sounds much more like mating ritual than threat disply too me as well.
