Don's 55g-is growing 10 gallons

Found this gem on craigs today.Leak testing right now.It came with the stand,a canopy(firewood ),the glass tops and 2 phat buckets of nice base rock with some tonga and figi in there.This tank was custom built and has 1/2"thick panels,it is so decieving as it's the heaviest tank i've ever lifted,and with having broken ribs at the moment i'm quite sure i'll be sorry i lifted this thing in the morning.$50 bucks and the dude delivered it for me,not too bad considering my lps would have charged me that much just for the base rock I got..I was getting ready to start a 55 that I have,so i already have sand,salt,more than enough rock,skimmer,and 2 of the new maxijet pro powerheads spankin new.So to get this one going,i pretty much just need to get it cleaned up,the back painted,and the stand set and secured and i'll be ready to get er goin.

Nice looking tank, what are the dimensions?

 

That is a pretty awesome tank. I think it would do great as an SPS or frag tank

Did you get another goodies with the tank?

 

Thats what really caught my eye was the low profile,so many options and new fish i'll be able to keep.The tank is 6ft by 17"tall by 13"wide.

Thanks JJL, Yeah,someone allready mentioned frag tank to me (you know who you are)but no,it's just gonna be a stretch out simple mixed reef.

As heavy as this tank is,if you can afford the shipping,i'll just drive it there Be a long overdue road trip.
And yeah,i got 2 buckets of really nice looking rock with it.

 

....but I am sure a mixed reef will still be really cool
