Thanks Ryan, told ya i'd been busy ;),added a gfo reactor today along with a hydor evolution 750,no pics yet as i'm still messin with it.And yeah, several of my shrooms are the size of coffee cup saucers, lol. I'm keeping the toadstool, but have three devils hands for sale, the biggest is the size of a baseball glove when fully expanded.

Thanks NOOZE,as i've told others and may have mentioned it here on my thread, but after years of reefing,i've finally decided that i'd rather have a small handful of eyecandy corals vs. a tank full of ugly weed corals,so it's been a fun challenge ridding the weeds and revamping everything in a fully established tank, lol, but i'm gettin er done! Thanks for the compliment!

    Update time,tank swap!

Found a real nice 65 RR with corner overflow, stand, canopy that came with a bucket of junk, lol, and a EuroReef skimmer that I knew nothing about.Stand has two front doors with carbon fiber accent (which is pretty cool) and a third side door for the sump to go in.Also after reseaching and asking about the skimmer on here,I gave it a nice vinegar bath which came out looking new again and temporarily put it in my sumps return compartment (only place it would fit at the moment). But have to say this is the best skimmer i've owned to date,it pulls mud,not watery coffee, sweet!

Plans are to move into the center room of my house with my 29g sump/fuge in the stand instead of beside it now (on the 55) and get this 55g science experiment out of my bedroom,I think it will look nicer and be more consolidated, plus i'll get to run my fuge on the reverse light cycle like i should be doing, but it's kinda hard when my fuge light is exposed and 4' from my bed, lol.

Will add child saftey latches for the stand doors and sanitize my sump,as i'm starting this one completely over, fully cycle, then will add only select stock from the 55 and sell whats leftover (to help getting me outta trouble with the wife ;D)

The canopy is homemade, but seems well built and was unfinished,i've put a couple coats on,but as you can see,i gotta couple coats to go.Also painted the back of the tank black, leak tested and is ready to start the install.

    New gear ordered friday includes-
    ReefBreeders 120w full spectrum LED's

    Titanium heater with controller

I mistakenly tripled my order of marco rocks somehow and it shipped out faster than I could get it corrected  which does not help me plead my case with the wife

All new sand for the fuge and tank-Caribsea agronite sugar size dry.

And replacement filters for my spectrapure unit, doesn't need them yet,but gonna be makin a buncha water here real soon and the sediment filter and carbon block are about due.

The difference in this tank is i'm going to be much more selectful with new coral adds,no weed type corals other than isolated gsp and pulsing xenia, and give it my first go at some more difficult lps and test the waters with some sps.

I'm glad i'm well stocked on dry goods, food and supplies as i think it gonna be awhile before the Mrs. lets me have my credit card back-here we go again!Sorry for the glare in the pics,it was the sun's fault, not mine ;)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Really nice Don, it cleaned up really well.

    Going LED are ya?

So are you keeping the 55 in the bed room?

Now see this is how you play it " honey all I needs is some egg crate and I can start growing out frags in the 55 gallon to pay for the 65 gallon, I already have most of the equipment" but alas I am pretty sure you already played that angle.

Thanks Cheryl, yes it did,a little elbow grease and vinegar, piece of cake ;).And heck ya! LED's baby!:cheesy:

And no,the 55 will get sold off as a whole or possibly parted out to help repay my "buy it now" escapade. But i'll be keeping most fish and some select corals.

Oh,I already knew who was boss and i'll be constantly reminded everyday for quite some time, lol.

The canopy is very light, like a paneling type wood, but I thought the same when I first seen it,but after thinking of having the room for hanging the leds in there,I started liking it more. But if it looks weird once in place, theres plenty of room to cut a few inches off and retouch the paint.

    Thanks Vince ;)
