I got a question about a previous comment. Where you said you ditched the 65 because of the mitered corners. If the silicone were to fail, really, how much more of a support it the plastic on top? You figure how much force is really pushing on the glass, I wouldn't imagine the plastic would really hold the tank together. It seems the silicone does all the support anyway? Am I wrong?

Honestly,I believe the frame helps overall with the support of the silicone along with the top and bottom cross braces.

    Would it have held?Probably.Who knows?

I filled it in my driveway for a couple days and it did not leak.

But as I also mentioned,I have small children and no reef tank in the world is worth my kids getting hurt in any way, shape or form,so it was a matter of me not trusting it by relying on just the silicone to hold.

And yes it hit the curb as I would not resell something that I don't trust myself.

    Hey Grinder,

The tank has really come along. Out of all the fish which is your favorite?

Personally I think the blue Chromis add a lot.

The Green Citon goby is too funny. I had one that I thought had died and turned up like 6 months later alive and well. In my 28 gallon you would have thought I would have seen it sooner.

Is the mushroom hosting the clowns?

Hey Hey! Thanks, the green citron and watchman i find very interesting with thier wierd little routines, very cool when you can see one of them.

But i'd have to say my clowns are personal favs,a salt tank just isn't a salt tank without clowns, plus they immediately paired up and are best buddies never leaving the others side.

And yea,the green hairy shroom (lol :cheesy:,private joke) is being a great host to the clowns, you would think they would have aggrivated it to death by now,but it must like it as the shroom is doing great with no signs of stress and it hasn't eaten them yet.

    Looks great Grinder.

Love the Cabbage and the red and blue mushrooms. Your clowns look so tiny in that tank.

Looks better without the Anthelia IMO. The other is Xenia right?

I really like the placement of everything. I like the pic of the mushrooms in post #51.
