    hey I wont hit it to hard, Also wedge a big flat head screw driver in between and managed to separate it a tiny bit. Ill check out that forum thanks

    if you have the clearance you can get a puller, basically it's just a bracket you put screws through it to the pump housing, then has a rod that goes against the shaft and pushes the 2 apart, typically used for yanking pulleys off water pumps and alternators stuff like that but would work for this application also maybe

    have you thought about taking it to a "small engine" repair shop.. Im sure they know how to get them disconnected, especially since they work on them..

    not to mention they probably wont charge much or anything if you buy something to go towards your go-cart.. I kind of want another go cart.

    yea haha I just like doing things myself if possible

    This will make for a beast go cart this thing will be fast!

    you need a pneumatic power wedge... like a little mini jackhammer with a wedge blade, hook up to an air compressor...

    amazing how those things will make just about anything separate.

    I think me an my dad figured it out though we took apart the pump and found a lock ring thing that we think it holding it on once i find the tool to remove it ill post if it worked

    my dad said if we cant get it off then he'll take it to his friend whos an engineer and a big machine shop
