dont know if anyone knows about this but...

yea the oil is nasty im changing it as soon as I get it off the cart.

Yeah that must have happened because i though about this happening so I turned off the gas before I put it on its side.

Im leaving on a field trip at like 8 am but ill mess with it once i get back

thats prob what it is

once I get it off im going to clean it all up- get a new air filter, new plug, oil change etc

 

and new gas who knows how longs it been in there but before I put it on its side it would start first pull

my friends dad said he wouldnt use it for like a year and still boom first pull

same thing when i first got it now telling how long it had been sitting but it fired right up

honda makes some good stuff my mower is the same way always first pull

 

I pulled the plug today and pulled the rope and a bunch of stuff shot out. I also cleaned the plug and im getting a spark but when I put the plug back in its does the same thing as before exept if I pull harder I can get the whole rope out (before I was scared I would break the rope)

have you checked all the little things? fuel line clogged? maybe try some starting fluid to get a good kick out of the motor..

 

yeah I may try the starting fluid

Im assuming everything else is fine because it ran great before I tried to get it off the power washer cart thing

 

I pulled the plug out today and cleaned it with acetone and contact cleaner.
I noticed it was bent so I bent it back normally and sanded between the things. Testing it by grounding it to a metal part on the motor and im getting lots of spark. I had also dumped a little acetone where the air cleaner fits onto. I put the plug back in after I cleaned it prob about 10 mins after I dumped the acetone in the air cleaner, pulled the rope and boom it fired up smoked like crazy then died about 15 secs or so later. Can't get it to start again, I pulled the plug and it's not bent. Should I pour more acetone in the air filter spot and see if I can get it to start again?
