    Hi,

I am getting these white things along the back part of my tank. They look like mini tube worms without the feathers,.. each one are curled up in a circle with mini-hairs protruding out of there sides. The are about 1/8 or 1/16th in size. Any ideas what this might be? is it help for my tank?

Im pretty sure i know what you are talking about. They sound like little tube worms, nothing to worry about, just means that tank is doing good :)

they are Spirorbid worms and are related to the bristle worm! They are filter feeders and are harmless in a reef tank though they do consume calcium, thus possibly decreasing your calcium level in your water!

CR I think you hit this one on the head of the nail!! Those little things kinda freaked me out when I first got them. I bet every saltwater tank has them!!
