entering into the 3rd week s/p b-day! See doctor AGAIN tomorrow and am anxious to see how eye is doing. I am finally feeling better and am being more active. Not sure how the vision is because right now it seems like it has very little sight in it now even compared to what it was late last week. Much more hazy and light is not as bright. i am not that concerned that there is some new loss as even though I have the eye patch on i think it still strains to try to see and is tired. Was down at my moms house today and she gave me an eye exam and held 2 fingers in front of my face and I couldnt see her hand at all. So will see tomorrow what the doctor says

Pain is better and am taking very few pain pills now. Just mainly tylenol, aleve etc. Still sensitive but I am finally able to walk around the house without sun glasses on over my good eye Hoping to get cleared to go back to the office tuesday to work

Each day is a better day and am excited!

ohhh............I am going to rat myself out before Curt can! Today was water changes in all of our tanks. Bad habits are hard to break. Without thinking I mouth siphon water out of the tank with the infamous palys! I didnt even think when i did it. When he yelled at me, I looked at the tube and it was right about the palys! Luckily I didnt get anything in my mouth but obviously my brain had leaked out of my eye last week!!! Obviously trying to complete the job on myself! Havent stuck my hand in that tank since I put those in there but decide to use my mouth to suck out poison!!!

Hey now.....let's not exaggerate here. My voice might have been raised a little but it was for emphasis. It worked, you stopped right away. You've heard me yell before and that was NOT a yell. Methinks that possibly the Prednisone steroids made you feel like I was yelling at you.

You should also tell them how getting used to not having depth perception is rough. How about I refill the ice cube trays and put them in the freezer from now on? LOL That way we don't have to mop up all the water off the floor. ;D

LOL I have been follically challenged for some time now. I have accepted the fact that I'm officially middle-aged. LOL I'm sure as heck not going to wear a toupe nor do a comb-over so people are going to have to accept me the way I am.

definately! I think i did well until day 13 on the steroids!!! Yesterday Tyson (the boston gave me a sad look and I started crying!) At least I am not homicidal!!!!

Depth perception does suck big time! I have to admit I was a 1 man wrecking machine yesterday! Was adding water back into the tank and wound up with water all over powerstrips............went to refil ice tray and thought had them all the way on the shelf in freezer.............then dumped all on floor!!!

My evil plan is starting to work............make bigger mess so I dont have to do it!

Same here, the comb over and toupes look very bad. The surgical solution is more than I would want to pay if I was inclined which I am not.
