Don't you hate parents?

I know how that goes. One time my moms diamond necklace (child support funded) went missing. We were driving on the freeway and she screamed at us demanding to know who took it. I was pissed at her and decided to trick her to see how well she was paying attention. I had a girlfriend and we broke up a month prior to this. I said i took it and she literally slammed on the breaks and came to a complete stop (during rush hour) and went to hit me. I was like *** you never care or pay attention and told her (again) that we broke up. So I didnt take it. I was always blamed for taking stuff and I knew who did it too. Her precious little baby.

 

I really understand being the 7th out of 8 brothers and sisters in my family I have had my share of unfairness. However like curt said, even if they were the most unfair people in the world i would still not be able to live without them.

My parents actually dont pay for my university either, i am paying it with scholarships and working in the summers and christmas break. My parents were not that approving of me going to college, and that goes back to them only going to third grade and then quitting because their parents made them work at such a young age. I kinda made them understand how important it was to me though.

in short, be gratefull your parents are not fair, and be gratefull your parents dont give you everything you want.. Or anything for that matter. People who work hard to obtain what they need are a thousand times better than people who get everything they want. there is nothing like the feeling that you get whenever you get something you want with your own effort. just be happy you have parents and focus on enjoying them while you still have them because like it or not, someday we wont have them anymore.

 

OMG you have no idea! I don't have a degree and I've made websites for detailing companies and hole in the wall places, and usually if they need a website they need a logo! I think I charge pretty cheap, $500 for logo and website. Sometimes they need me to actually make the banners and stuff which is usually around $300. So they are looking at around $800 but they feel like they are cheating me because I put in way more hours than the big firms so they give me a little extra.

I think my favorite was working for an LFS a while back making their website and they hooked me up with an amazing pico, fully stocked, and the best equipment available. Too bad they had moved and combined with another LFS.

Best part is I can work from anywhere I have internet and outlet access! lol I've worked while on the john before. ;D So the website was literally a piece of crap. haha

 

Yup! Work hard and everything will pay off in the long run. I'm psyched about the lambo! ;D

It's great! haha yeah seems like parents will believe everything but the truth. Ok so sibling says this so it must be true, even though it's obvious its not possible. Mine don't really pay attention either unless I give my opinion about something they are doing.

 

Yeah. Isnt that the way it works with most people though?

 

8 kids. That is a handful and more! lol I think after 3 or 4 I'm done. haha Can't even imagine 8!
